iPhone Flaw Found

Hi Everyone...

I just found a security issue with iPhone.

You can access any contact information and even make calls even when the iPhone is locked.

Here's the steps to reproduce this:

TO SEE THE CONTACTS INFORMATION WHEN IPHONE IS LOCKED:
1. Long press on screen when the iPhone is Locked.
2. You will see that your Siri is activated.
3. Say any common name like "Mom Contact" or any name you feel a person may be having.
4. Siri will provide you the result of all possible matches for Contacts.
5. Now you can click on contact name to see the contact information.

TO CALL A NUMBER WHEN IPHONE IS LOCKED:

1. Long press on screen when the iPhone is Locked.
2. You will see that your Siri is activated.
3. Say "Call Mom" for instance, you will again be given options by Siri
4. Just say the name, the call will go.

Hope you will keep your mobile safe until a fix for this is found.

Windows Lovers.. Something good for you... :)

Windows Phone 7 Mango actual Mango
It is rumored that the Mango update to WP7 will be be released on September 1, this release date should put it in direct competition with product launches from both Apple and Google.
With all of the iPhone rumors swarming around lately there hasn’t been much Windows Phone 7 news to talk about. Well that changed today, with reports that the Mango update to WP7 will come out on September 1. Just a couple of weeks ago we heard from Microsoft that the OS was ready for phones, and it was only a matter of time before we would see it in the wild.
There is still no word on yet if new hardware will be coming out on September 1 along with the updated software.  When WP7 was first launched it was launched on several phones and carriers all at once, but we don’t know if that will happen this year. The current generation of WP7 devices will start getting over the air updates on September 1, but everything else is still up in the air.
The Mango update to WP7 is supposed to address most of the main areas of concern with the current product, and add some features on top of those improvements. For a more in-depth overview of what to expect from Mango check out the post on its features
We just talked about Google bumping up the Ice Cream Sandwich launch to October to compete with Apple’s still unannounced iPhone; Now with Microsoft launching Mango around the same time it will create a perfect storm of cell phone choices. The key features of both iOS 5 and Mango have already been highlighted so the only real wild card operating system wise will be Ice Cream Sandwich. On the hardware side of things it is pretty much anyone’s guess to how most of the new phones will look or function. No matter what happens we’re looking forward to this fall, and are starting to save up money now.

Android edges out BlackBerry and iPhone

While I always tend to take all these user numbers with a grain of salt, the latest ComScore results are rather interesting and certainly worth noting. For the first time, Android has surpassed Research In Motion as well as Apple within the ComScore ranking period of the past three-months ending in January 2011. As noted by ComScore:

65.8 million people in the U.S. owned smartphones during the three months ending in January 2011, up 8 percent from the preceding three-month period. Google Android captured the #1 ranking among smartphone platforms for the first time in January with 31.2 percent market share. RIM ranked second with 30.4 percent market share, followed by Apple with 24.7 percent. Microsoft (8.0 percent) and Palm (3.2 percent) rounded out the top five.

While interesting to see, it's not really surprising in anyway. Android continues to grow and as more manufacturers step up to make use of Google platform a slow down in market growth doesn't appear to be in site. While I personally shed a tear for BlackBerry, Research In Motion is in a transition period and will be for quite some time. This is an Android and Apple time now, with Microsoft working there way back into relevancy.
